ABOUT ME
My name is Tara Moore, and I am a student art teacher specialising in sculpture.
I am passionate about hands-on, process-led learning and believe that three-dimensional art offers students powerful opportunities to explore form, texture, space, and material in meaningful ways.
My sculptural practice and teaching interests focus on mixed media, textiles, and painting, encouraging students to think critically about the world around them while developing practical skills. I place strong emphasis on experimentation, problem-solving, and reflection, allowing students to learn through making, testing, and refining their ideas.
As an art educator, I aim to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident taking creative risks. I enjoy connecting art to contemporary themes such as identity, sustainability, and today’s world, helping students see the relevance of art in their everyday lives.
I am committed to developing engaging, well-structured lessons that balance technical skill-building with creative freedom, supporting students of all abilities to express themselves through sculpture and visual art.
